Agra city is provided with an extensive network of roads and
railway lines. There are as many as 29 halt station in Agra. Railway
lines run through the entire length and breadth of Agra.
Like Agra Cantt. Railway Station Raja Ki Mandi is an important railway
station in the region. The railway station is located towards the west
of Agra in Civil Lines area and about 5 kms from the city center.
The place near Raja Ki Mandi Railway Station has a number of premium
hotels. Ashoka Hotel and UPSTDC's Tourist Bungalow are at walking
distance. The railway line, just ahead of Raji Ki Mandi Railway Station,
splits in two, one leading to the city center and the other to the
southern areas of Agra and beyond. Raja Ki Mandi Railway Station falls
under Central Railways in Agra.
